What Is The Purpose Of Athlete Rehabilitation?

The ability of an injured athlete or professional to regain his skills is of primary importance, both in terms of health and economy. Expectations from treatment;

  • Relieving pain and reducing inflammation (rest, cold application, compression, elevation and stabilization methods are used for this purpose),

  • Muscle strength, recovery of endurance,

  • Elimination of the limiting factors caused by the injury and returning the range of motion to normal,

  • Recovering lost conditional properties,

  • Recovery in skills specific to one's profession,

  • Restoring aerobic capacity and endurance.

Implementation and development of all these at appropriate times, at the appropriate pace and with the right programs are among the basic elements of rehabilitation. A full return to the fields and scenes will be possible with the completion of these features.
